It is a song that never ends… it keeps going on and on my friends…

The cat really is out of the bag people. And just when you thought it was about to end!

Truly I am suffering from ‘event fatigue’. Two years this would have been one the most exciting things ever (Paul Dini! Weekly comics! WHOA!) but now… my excitement is little to none. My scorn on the other hand is topping the charts.

And look:

When a character dies in COUNTDOWN 51, it sets off an unexpected ripple that will touch virtually every character in the DC Universe.

Honestly you think they’d not so obviously repeat themselves less then THREE YEARS after the last time a character died in a series called COUNTDOWN and changed everything.

Honestly, I really hoping for a break from the big events but with this and World War Hulk and the new X-Men event this summer…

When is enough a enough? When has everything changed so much that changing so much becomes the status quo? When does change become so constant that the only constant is change?

  1. psycholarry says:

change is always the only constant

  2. that’s untrue. there is as much continuity as there is change in life.
